20 weeks

How far along? 20 weeks.
Baby Hart is the size of:  A banana.
Total weight gain/loss: 5 pounds gained as of the last appointment.
Maternity clothes? Yes, and I was able to score some deals on a few new shirts at tank tops from Motherhood at the Tanger Outlets while on our vaca!  Happy to have some more casual maternity clothes;)
Stretch marks?  Not yet, though the belly's getting quite itchy;)  Wait for it..;)
Sleep?  Better, thanks to my fabulous friend Sarah giving me her Boppy Body Pillow!  Woot!
Best moment this week: Going to the Smoky Mountains with some super friends of ours from Chattanooga!
Miss anything? Being able to have Silas snuggle on my lap better:/
Movement: Yes, and Jason finally for sure felt him too!!
Food cravings: Breakfast foods.  You wouldn't even believe all I ate while at the Pancake Pantry in Gatlinburg.  And all the breakfast-y goodness I bought at the grocery store yesterday.
Symptoms:  Sciatica, bizarre dreams... had forgotten to mention nose-bleeds that started a few weeks ago, but glad to say none this last week!
Showing?  Yeppers.  I've noticed people look at my belly strange and are obviously relieved when I then speak of being pregnant.  That would be one weird big lunch bump.
Gender:  It's a BOY!!!!
Belly button in or out? Still weird... like 3/4 out 1/4 in:)
Wedding rings on or off?  On.
Adjustments? Looking to set up some chiropractic adjustments soon... please yes.
Emotions: Excited, and honestly a bit intimidated by the big appointment this next Tuesday with the specialist... but fighting the worry!
Learned this week: That bagel thins are a joke... a cruel, cruel joke.
So thankful for:  All the movement I've been feeling, and that Jason could feel it too!
Looking forward to: Our appointment with the specialist next Tuesday and getting some questions answered!

Week 20

How far along?  20 weeks
Baby Hart is the size of: A cantaloupe
Total weight gain/loss:  2 pounds this week- for 7 pounds total.  I found out at my doc appt. that the three pounds I lost and regained in my first trimester don't count towards my total weight gain; they still factor from my very beginning weight.  So my last blog answers are really 3 pounds too much;)
Maternity clothes?  I hope soon!
Stretch marks?  I hope never! ;)
Sleep:  Very uncomfy- excited for my friend Brittany visiting and bringing me her Boppy body pillow to try!
Best moment this week:  Finding out that Baby Hart is a BOY!!!
Miss anything?  Having pants that fit easier;)
Movement:  Yes yes.... loooove it!
Food cravings: CUPCAKES.  And my sweet hubby brought me one home on Wednesday and then his crazy dog stole it!  Sad:(
Symptoms:  The rib pain is getting pretty ridiculous:P
Showing?  Yes with 2 more pounds to show this week lol!
Gender prediction: I as well as most of us were WRONG- Baby Hart IS a BOY!!!
Belly button in or out?  In-ish
Wedding rings on or off?  On.
Adjustments?  Getting used to saying HE instead of "the baby":):):)
Emotions: Happy and hyper
Learned this week:  That changing this blog template was a lot harder than it prolly shoulda been;)
So thankful for: Knowing the gender:)
Looking forward to:  Planning so much more now that we know our baby is a boy- let the name picking and nursery decorating take full force!!!
Other highlights:  This week we really enjoyed having Jason read his first book to our baby.  He read "Oh, Baby, the Places You'll Go! A book to be read in Utero" on Dr. Seuss's birthday last Friday; and we plan to have him keep reading it to him throughout gestation :)  My sister-in-law and older brother did that with their son so that he would learn his daddy's voice too:)  They said after the baby was born, he would really calm down when my brother would read it to him!
