What week is it??... ok, I get it now:) Week 17

So, thanks to an article by the fantastic What to Expect website, I now have a little clearer understanding about how the weeks in pregnancy work.  I've known that every Friday I've switched to my new week, so for example last Friday I hit Week 17.  But then as I've read through week-by-week symptoms and what-not, I've been a little blurry as to if the that Friday to the next is week 17 or whichever, or if the week before that Friday was??  This may make no sense, but the article definitely helped me:)  Now I understand that while I'm not 18 weeks pregnant yet, I am in week 18.  All that to say I will start posting my blogs a little sooner (since technically I've been posting a little late, for example: week 14 when I was actually in week 15).  So here's my next post, even though I just posted a few days ago; and I will post week 18 on Thursday.

How far along? 17 Weeks
Baby Hart is the size of:  An onion
Total weight gain/loss: 6 1/2 pounds- gained 2 1/2 this week, so not worried about the pound I lost the last week, lol!
Maternity clothes?  Still mostly regular clothes, but starting to think that's about to change;)
Stretch marks? Not yet
Sleep:  Definitely gonna need a good prenatal body pillow soon- sleep is starting to really hurt!
Best moment this week: Getting some reflexology treatment from my awesome friend Kelly!  It helped so much with my hip pain and headaches!
Miss Anything? Being able to do the whole ropes challenge course with our youth group this weekend!
Movement:  Lots, so beautiful!!  And it's definitely getting stronger! LOVE when Baby Hart gets wiggly:)
Food cravings:  Really been wanting some cottage cheese lately.  Definitely on the grocery list!
Symptoms?  Been having a lot more hip and lower back pain.
Showing?  Oh yes, and this week was quite the growth spurt!
Gender prediction: Girl.
Belly Button in or out?  In, but getting shallow;)
Wedding rings on or off?  On.

Adjustments:  Getting used to a bigger bump and an arching, aching back!
Emotions: Happy:)
Learned this week: How the weeks of pregnancy fully work.
So thankful for:  Kelly and her amazing reflexology massage!
Looking forward to:  When my hubby can feel the baby move:)
